Book Recs Based on Your Zodiac Sign

All reviews in Blogger’s Note.

Aries: Strengths- Courageous, determined, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic, honest, passionate Weaknesses- Impatient, moody, short-tempered, impulsive, aggressive.

The main character, Cass, in, “You and Everything After,” reminds me of an Aries even though I have no clue when her birthday is. My sister is an Aries and she is the definition of an Aries. If you were born from March 21 – April 19. You are described as fiery and creative. I can back that up with first hand experience. Cass and Ty I can see both being Aries because they both have these traits. I can see both of them because the traits seem stronger when together.

Taurus: Strengths- Reliable, patient, practical, devoted, responsible, stable Weaknesses- Stubborn, possessive, uncompromising.

This one actually blows my mind of how accurate this is. Tessa Young from, “After,” is not a Taurus since she was born in December and not from April 20 – May 20. She is so neat and tidy that it annoys me. I have a weird relationship with this book since I get so frustrated with it but I can’t stop reading. I wan’t to stop reading the series but then I pick up the next book and the cycle starts again.

Gemini: Strengths- Gentle, affectionate, curious, adaptable, ability to learn quickly and exchange ideas Weaknesses- Nervous, inconsistent, indecisive.

I was halfway through this book before I caved and got bored from it. But I read half which means I have a say in the character from what I know. She is super sweet and gentle. One trait of a Gemini is having little trips around town and this is clear that she is out a lot. If you were born May 21 – June 20 this might be a good fit for your TBR.

Cancer: Strengths- Tenacious, highly imaginative, loyal, emotional, sympathetic, persuasive Weaknesses- Moody, pessimistic, suspicious, manipulative, insecure.

I have yet to do a review on, “The Girl I Was Before,” but Paige Owens is such a Cancer! If you were born June 21 – July 22 I feel like you would relate to Paige really hard in this book. She isn’t loyal at first. You would have to read the first two books in order to understand what’s happening and when reading these books, I dreaded the moments when Paige was in them. The only reason I read the third book was because I love the series that much. And the moment I read the strengths and weaknesses of a Cancer, Paige has to be a Cancer.

Leo: Strengths- Creative, passionate, generous, warm-hearted, cheerful, humorous Weaknesses- Arrogant, stubborn, self-centered, lazy, inflexible.

Easton Royal in the book, “Fallen Heir,” isn’t a perfect example of all these traits, but he is of most. I read this book which is in a series. I did not know it was in a series so I read the fourth book without any knowledge. But besides that, Easton sounds and acts like he was born from July 23 – August 22.

It’s a movie now!

Virgo: Strengths- Loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, practical Weaknesses- Shyness, worry, overly critical of self and others, all work and no play.

Virgo comes from the Latin name virgin, and Stella’s a virgin… So that works. This whole entire description of a Virgo is Stella, except for the hardworking part at the end of the book. Stella finally stops giving a crap and starts to live her life. But that’s at the end of the book. In, “Five Feet Apart,” Will is obviously Stella’s love interest and a greatest over all compatible sign is a Pisces. Will is such a Pisces! So if you were born from August 22 – September 23 or are a Pisces, read this book.

Libra: Strengths- Cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, fair-minded, social Weaknesses- Indecisive, avoids confrontations, will carry a grudge, self-pity.

“P.S. I Like You,” has main character, Lily. She has most of these characteristics except for self-pity. She works hard for what she has and has only complained once when her guitar -that she spent months working for- broke. I’d say it’s fair that she gets to snap after her passion is ripped from her without her say. Again, not a clue when she was born, but I have a feeling she is a Libra, September 23 – October 22.

Scorpio: Strengths- Resourceful, brave, passionate, stubborn, a true friend Weaknesses- Distrusting, jealous, secretive, violent.

I read this true story for a unit I had to take in school. This is my favorite book that I ever read for school. Emma Edmonds in, “Behind Rebel Lines,” is a nurse in 1861 for the Civil War. She pretended to be a man and has secrets only told in her diaries, journals and books. Emma is the kind of person I would love to be in another life. This is a short story about her life in the Civil War and the struggles she had. This scares me how she represents a Scorpio. I know for a fact that she is either a Sagittarius or Capricorn and not a Scorpio but this was the 1800’s and no one knows the exact date she was born… So there’s a chance because Scorpio is October 23 – November 22.

Sagittarius: Strengths- Generous, idealistic, great sense of humor Weaknesses- Promises more than can deliver, very impatient, will say anything no matter how undiplomatic.

“Beautiful Disaster,” is something else. It’s one of my favorites but it’s also one of the most insane relationships I have ever read about. The ending is actually unbelievable and I love it all. I do know when Abby was born and it is before November 21 – December 22. It is shown in the book that way before Thanksgiving is when Abby’s birthday is. So she is not a Sagittarius but definitely acts like it. I don’t know if I will ever review it; but if I do, it will be long.

Capricorn: Strengths- Responsible, disciplined, self-control, good managers Weaknesses- Know-it-all, unforgiving, condescending, expecting the worst.

Kara from, “Beautiful Disaster”. But since she isn’t in this book that much, “Goodbye, Rebel Blue,” is my second choice. She isn’t a full Capricorn but she is pretty close to it. This was my most recent review and if you were born December 23 – January 20 this is a good choice; Capricorn or not. If you are having second thoughts on this because Rebel is not a full Capricorn, review 20 is in my Blogger’s Note.

Aquarius: Strengths- Progressive, original, independent, humanitarian Weaknesses- Runs from emotional expression, temperamental, uncompromising, aloof.

June from, “Shuffle, Repeat,” is a November baby but an Aquarius personality. You can see it from the beginning to the end of the book what her actions are and how they match with Aquarius traits. January 21 – February 18 is the Aquarius time. I had a really hard time finding a book for this zodiac and Jen Klein didn’t make her an Aquarius but when you think about after reading it, she totally is.

Pisces: Strengths- Compassionate, artistic, intuitive, gentle, wise, musical Weaknesses- Fearful, overly trusting, sad, desire to escape reality, can be a victim or a martyr.

“Best Kind of Broken,” is an amazing representation of Pisces of both main characters in this book. The past also helps tremendously to prove that they are both Pisces. Pixie and Levi throughout this entire book are both full of these traits. Individually, some traits are stronger than others. But overall, February 19 – March 20 babies are the people I feel would relate to these characters the most.

Blogger’s Note:

I saw a video on Youtube by @LovelyLikeLaura on this and it looked so fun. I am not an expert on zodiacs but I love the Instagram posts on them. I am a May baby and a Taurus through and through. If I ever miss a day of posting I will either be posting again that weekend or I will be busy and that’s I didn’t post twice and was late. So I will be posting again today because this post took me so long to make because I wanted my research to fact and I even went to my family who are different signs than to see if it was a good site. It was legit and it scared me how much it was like me. Go check out Laura on YT because she is just like me and that is where I am getting some of my ideas for my weekend posts.
